Maths

At the Literacy Lounge we recognise the importance of mathematics in everyday life as an essential skill.

All of our students have a personalised programme of mathematical concepts tailored to their needs.

We teach:-

• Number
• Algebra
• Shape and Space
• Measures
• Data Handling

From our experience as teachers, we understand that whilst some students are keen mathematicians, eager for a challenge, many are nervous of Maths. With our maths mentoring service, there is no need to worry!

Each step is explained at the individual's own pace, extended where necessary or supported with maths games and visual aids as appropriate.

Our students come to embrace maths, no longer a closed book to them, indeed often becoming a favourite subject.
